Feng Shui · From Seoul

Does your home know who you are?

Eastern feng shui isn't about superstition. It's about whether the space you live in nourishes the person you're becoming.

From $1 to $179

Traditional Korean interior with pearl-inlaid wooden screens and classical chandelier — feng shui composition

Why this matters

The room you wake up in is shaping you. Quietly. Every day.

In the Eastern view, space and person aren't separate. Where your bed faces, what you see when you open your eyes, how energy enters and leaves your front door — these aren't decorative choices. They're the conditions you're living inside.

Korean tradition has a saying: 대문이 명당의 절반이다— “the front gate is half the auspicious site.” The way energy enters a space matters as much as the space itself. Modern apartments, modern offices — the principles still apply.

Sun's readings aren't about hanging crystals or buying decor. They're about how your specific space, with what's already in it, can be re-arranged to actually hold the life you're trying to live.

A glimpse of what you'll receive.

Single Space · living room · excerpt

Your living room faces southwest, which at this latitude means strong afternoon light entering for most of the active hours. That's a lot of 화 (fire) flowing in — energising for the right setup, exhausting for the wrong one.

The TV currently sits directly opposite the sofa, placing the room's most visually demanding object at the exact spot you sit to rest. Try this for a week: rotate the sofa ninety degrees so the TV is in your peripheral, not your direct line. Your eyes will land on the bookshelf and the window first when you sit. The afternoon light becomes a backdrop instead of a competitor.

Single Space reports run 4 pages with photos, 3D rearrangement options, and the top three changes worth making this week.

What's inside

What you'll know when you finish reading.

Your energy flow

Where chi enters, where it stagnates, where it drains. The path the room is asking you to walk versus the one you're walking now.

Element balance of the space

Which of the five elements is dominating, which is missing, and how that shows up in the room you actually live in.

Practical moves for this week

Specific furniture moves, sight-line changes, and lighting adjustments — most use what you already own.

Saju integration (Full Space +)

How the elements in your chart and the elements in your space relate. What your specific energy needs from the room.

Common questions.

What does the $1 Quick Read actually include?+

Upload one photo of your space. Sun reviews it personally and emails you 1–2 paragraphs of what she notices — bed direction, what's drawing or draining energy, what's worth a closer look. It's the smallest possible way to see how Sun reads a space before committing to a full consultation.

How is this different from generic feng shui advice online?+

Generic advice gives you rules. This gives you a reading of your specific space and (optionally) your saju. Sun looks at where your bed actually faces, how light enters at this latitude, what the room is being used for now versus what it could be — then she remaps it.

I rent. Can I still get something out of this?+

Yes — most of the consultation is about how you arrange what's already there. Furniture placement, bed direction, where you put your desk, what enters your line of sight first when you wake. You don't need to renovate.

Do I need a floor plan?+

For Single Space, no — wide photos are enough. For Full Space, a rough sketch or screenshot from your floor plan helps a lot. Phone apps like Magicplan also work.

What does 'Korean feng shui' mean?+

Korean feng shui (풍수) blends classical Chinese principles with Korea's own tradition of reading land, light, and the energy of dwelling spaces. Sun was raised with this. The framing here is practical and grounded — not mystical.
